Cinnamon Churro Cheesecake Bars are a delightful dessert that combines the best of both worlds: the warm, cinnamon-sugar crunch of classic churros and the rich, creamy goodness of cheesecake. Ingredients

  • 2 cans 8 oz each crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 8 oz packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon. Set this aside; it will be your tasty cinnamon-sugar topping!
  • Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the baking dish. Be sure to pinch the seams together to form one solid layer.
  • Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the dough. This adds a lovely flavor!
  • In a medium bowl, beat together 2 packages of softened cream cheese, 1 cup of granulated sugar, the large egg, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until everything is smooth and creamy.
  • Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the dough layer in the baking dish.
  • Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and carefully place it over the cream cheese layer. Press the edges to seal everything in.
  • Brush melted butter over the top layer, then sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture on top for that delicious crunch.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
  • Allow it to cool for 20 minutes before slicing. For the best taste, chill it in the refrigerator for 1 hour before serving.
