Cream Cheese Cake

Cream Cheese Cake is a delightful treat that everyone loves! It’s creamy, soft, and just the right amount of sweet. Perfect for family gatherings, birthdays, or just a cozy night at home, this cake is sure to make everyone smile.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar for glaze, optional
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk or cream for glaze, optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 9-inch springform pan.
  • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the sugar and keep beating until it’s creamy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time. Then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add this dry mixture to the cream cheese mixture. Mix gently until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared springform pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
  • For the optional glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk or cream until smooth. Drizzle it over the cooled cake.
  • You can also add nuts, chocolate chips, or berries to make it even more delicious!
