Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
Add the melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and Greek yogurt to the mashed bananas. Whisk until well combined.
Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gently mix until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips, making sure they are evenly distributed.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top for an extra treat.
Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for at least 20 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
