  • 1 1/4 cups ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Whisk the mixture until all ingredients are fully combined and the sauce has a smooth consistency.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if needed. Add more hot sauce for extra heat or vinegar for added tanginess.
  • For a deeper flavor, transfer the mixture to a saucepan and simmer over low heat for 5–10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Allow the sauce to cool completely. Transfer it to an airtight jar or bottle.
  • Use immediately as a steak sauce, burger topping, or marinade, or store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
