Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 can 15 oz lemon pie filling
  • Zest of 1 lemon optional, for garnish
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grab a 9×13-inch baking dish and pour in the melted butter, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined.Then, stir in the whole milk and vanilla extract.
  • Mix until a smooth batter forms.
  • Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish. Do not stir! Just let it sit.
  • Spoon the lemon pie filling over the batter. Again, do not mix. The magic happens during baking!
  • Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubblingOnce done, let the cobbler cool for at least 10 minutes.
  • Dust it with powdered sugar and sprinkle some lemon zest on top if you like.
  • Serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Enjoy!
