Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper. This will help you easily lift the brownies out when they cool.
In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, cocoa powder, maple syrup (or honey), almond flour, baking soda, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix everything together until the batter is smooth.
If you’re feeling extra indulgent, fold in the chocolate chips at this point.
Spread the batter evenly into your prepared baking pan.
Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the brownies are set but still slightly gooey in the center.
Once done, remove them from the oven and let them cool completely before slicing into squares.
